Only 2mg is committed to building safer communities by delivering comprehensive training, developing innovative programs, and fostering collaborative solutions that address illicit fentanyl and other emerging public safety threats.

Founded by Brian Townsend, a retired Special Agent from the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Only 2mg is led by an experienced Executive Director and a Board of Directors that includes retired DEA special agents. With decades of firsthand experience combatting drug trafficking and confronting complex public safety challenges, our leadership brings unparalleled insight and expertise to addressing illicit fentanyl and broader community safety issues.

More than just drug enforcement, we are committed to education, prevention, and collaboration – empowering individuals, organizations, and communities with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to prevent harm, protect lives, and create lasting change.

Our Training Programs

Only 2mg currently offers three specialized training programs on illicit fentanyl:

  • The Illicit Fentanyl Crisis & Drug Poisonings: Understanding, Awareness, Action
    A comprehensive 4-hour program that provides an in-depth exploration of the opioid epidemic and the illicit fentanyl crisis, including historical context, current trends, and critical topics. Participants gain invaluable insights and practical guidance to take meaningful action in their communities.
  • Fentanyl: The Professional Brief
    A condensed, informative 1-hour “lunch and learn” session designed for busy professionals and organizations. This presentation provides a clear overview of the dangers of fentanyl and its impact on individuals, families, and communities.
  • Illicit Fentanyl: Shattering Dreams
    A 1-hour program tailored for youth that delivers essential drug awareness and prevention education. This presentation equips students with the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions and safeguard their well-being.
